Pour donner une suite au film de Claude Sautet des années 70 (les nôtres) que nous avions beaucoup aimé en son temps, merci à tous les Vincent, François, Paul.....les Alain, les Jacques, Jean-Marie, Gérard, Raymond, Guy, François, David, Max et tous les autres pour les plaisirs indicibles qu'ils m'ont donnés en pédalant, échangeant, festoyant, partageant, communiant avec eux dans les cadres idyllique de notre belle Provence.
"Quelques soient les activités que nous puissions avoir, lorsque nous sommes séparés de nos machines et n'avons plus nos postérieurs collés aux cuirs, nous savons au fond de nous que nous puisons une part de nos énergies et de nos inspirations de ces moments passés en corps à corps avec ces étranges mécaniques métallo carbonés aux propulsions d'un autre temps ou hyper moderniste selon nos manières d'aborder le monde. Bien que nos souffrances ou nos plaisirs, mélange de sadomasochisme, d'hédonisme, de stoïcisme et bien autres morales doctrinaires en "isme", soient l'objet d'émotions personnelles, nous ne pouvons nous empêcher de les partager avec nos amis d'aventures. Une victoire sur soi, un paysage qui vous chavire, une luminosité ou une brume qui vous enchante, un mot pour rire, une situation grotesque ou drôle, une engueulade, une chute et une main secoureuse, un bout de saucisson avec un verre de rosé au petit matin après une ou deux heures de route le corps en sueur, les discussions ordonnées ou désordonnées des uns et des autres par petits paquets, le seul bruit des pneus au contact du bitume humide dans un silence monacal et appliqué comme dans une prière collective, un cliquetis, un chant d'oiseau, un refrain......et mille autres choses encore qui tissent entre nous des liens indicibles. Ces liens nous semblent ténus et pourtant à y regarder de plus près ces esprits et ces corps en mouvement donnent du sens à la vie, même si nous pestons en suant dans une côte ou en chassant contre le vent, car ils sont inscrits dans un projet humain où la machine ne sert que de prétexte à mieux se connaître, s'apprécier individuellement et en groupe. C'est là que le sport prend toute sa valeur esthétique et devient un art ....de vivre."
